Please read an important message from our Program Director, Dr. Andrew White, regarding the ongoing outbreak of COVID-19:

Dear Future Interns,

Congratulations on matching with us here at St Louis Children’s Hospital and Washington University.
I am delighted to welcome you and look forward to July!

As you all must surely know, we are in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak, which is wreaking havoc on our healthcare system and in our community as a whole.  Rest assured, we are doing everything possible to prepare and address the many issues that we face, and have instituted plans and back-up plans and back-up back-up plans. I anticipate that over the next few months, there will be more clarity about what to expect as the roles and responsibilities of our medical community and our medical education community evolve. I will of course do my best to keep you all in the loop, but don’t hesitate to email, write a letter, or even text me with any questions whatsoever.

Again, congratulations, and see you soon!

Sincerely,

Dr. White
