Application Instructions and Program Contact
We participate in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and the NRMP Pediatric Specialties Match. For the July 2021 start date, the application window has been delayed slightly due to COVID-19. Applications may be submitted to ERAS beginning July 1, 2020, and programs will be able to view applications starting August 12, 2020; virtual interviews are taking place until mid-November 2020, and Match Day is December 16, 2020.
Documents to be submitted through ERAS include:
- Common Application Form
- Personal Statement
- Medical School Transcript
- Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE; Dean's Letter)
- Transcript of USMLE Scores (and/or COMLEX scores, if applicable)
- Three Letters of Recommendation (one of which is from your residency program director; for MD/PhD applicants, one letter should also be from the thesis advisor)
Upon review of each ERAS application, selected applicants will be extended invitations to schedule interviews. In coordination with the Association of Pediatric Program Directors, the Council on Pediatric Subspecialties, and the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society, we are offering an entirely virtual interview process for applicants whose start date is July 2021.
Foreign medical graduates must be certified by the ECFMG and have completed residency training in an accredited United States or Canadian general pediatric or medicine-pediatrics residency program to be eligible to apply.
We appreciate your interest in our Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program and look forward to reviewing your completed application.
